My academic life started while I was in the Marine Corps. I went to night school and eventually earned an associate degree from Baltimore City Community College.

I later earned a bachelor's in Urban Social Work (Morgan State), a Master's in Social Work Administration (Columbia), and a PhD in Public Policy & Administration (Virginia Tech). I also served as a full-time professor at John Jay College of Criminal Justice for six years.

Now that I am out of academia, I can provide unfiltered advice. My coaching focuses on one thing: total preparedness—for college, graduation, and the world of work. No fluff! Just a genuine commitment to helping you win.
